Three in a Row

This section accepts only boards where you swap two pieces to line up three of a colour, and only boards that sit still while you think. We reject anything with a timer bar, a lives counter, an energy meter that sells energy back to you, or an automatic shuffle whenever you run out of moves, because those three things turn a small problem into a machine for stretching time. A board here has to hold a fixed layout, offer at least four legal moves most of the time, and not reward luck with a loud animation. A board like that usually ends in ten to fifteen minutes, which is enough to feel you solved something rather than waited for the machine to pour pieces.
